ACCOUNTABILITY
- Reduce the size of Albany County Legislature
- County Legislature elections every 2 years instead of 4
- Stop political patrionage, political retribution, outright discrimination
- Reduce costs and keep the taxes down by regular management audits of all agencies by the comptroller to save money by eliminating fraud and waste
- Oppose Tax Payer Burden of Albany Convention Center
QUALITY OF LIFE
- Create Regional Traffic and Development Planning Commission that will invite resident feedback
- Fight crime by expanding gun buy-back program and eliminating abandoned buildings
- Encorage young families/ first time home buyers by giving them tax breaks
- Use Public Benefit Corporation to imporve the quality services at the Albany County Nursing home and to relieve the taxpayers of much of the burden of rising Medicaid costs
