A resident of Albany County all his adult life, Anton Konev is a community activist with a strong agenda to help improve the quality of life of Guilderland residents and all of Albany County.

Anton Konev is a former crime victim and grass roots organizer who has used his extensive legislative experience and community work to start a crime prevention program that has received praise from law enforcement agencies.

Anton Konev is deeply involved in community issues and has spent his summers building homes for the poor and organizing youth leadership conferences. He understands the issues of Guilderland residents and wants to improve Albany County.

Anton Konev has the energy and experience to work to stop tax increases and reduce the size of the County Legislature which costs taxpayers millions.

Anton Konev, Town of Guilderland resident and candidate for Albany County Legislature is interviewed by reporter from WAMC regarding his documented charges that the Albany Board of Elections, under the direction of political bosses, is trying to steal the election by denying registerd residents of the town the ability to vote for him. Konev has threatened to go to federal court next week to force the Board of Elections to allow all those that have met registration deadlines to be able to vote on election machines, not by paper ballot because it is common practice for such ballots to be "lost or not counted" by political hacks at the board.
